- Above 11 years old: adult rate will be charged
- More than 21 days before check-in: FREE of charge
- From 11 to 20 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
- From 7 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less than 7 days before check-in & no Show: 100% of total rates
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Cruise Itinerary
08:15 - 08:45 | Pick up
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter if you have booked the shuttle bus (require extra fee). The travel time to Halong Bay takes approximately 2.5 hours
There will be a short break en route for refreshments (about 20 minutes).
11:30 - 12:15 | Check-in - Embark
You will be present at Tuan Chau Marina, where Essence Grand Cruise staff will welcome and assist with check-in procedures.
Once on board our Essence Grand Cruise, enjoy a welcome drink in the restaurant during the cruise briefing then check in to your luxury suite.
Lunchtime
Lunch will be served in the restaurant as the EssenceCruise travels through the countless stunning islands and islets of Halong Bay.
Explore Sung Sot Cave
In the afternoon, the transfer boat will take you to the stunning Sung Sot Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, discovered by a group of French explorers in 1901.
For guests who do not engage in experiential activities, on the yacht, you can choose to relax, and enjoy massage services, a swimming pool, a bar, a cigar and wine lounge, a billiard, etc.

Get back on board, you can enjoy the best moments of the day at the sky bar on board as the sun hits the water. Let's enjoy cocktails and savour Canapé.

After dinner, you can chill out in your suite; pamper yourself at the spa; try some squid fishing; or spend time with your fellow companions at cigar & wine lounge, karaoke, sky bar, or pool bar.

Sunrise time - Have Breakfast
For early risers, don’t forget to observe the dawn over Halong Bay. Then, start the day actively with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or have a workout in the gym.

Excursion to Luon Cave
Travel to Luon Cave, one of the most gorgeous places with imposing limestone mountains, lush flora, and emerald sea. You will get on a rowing boat to discover this pretty area
9:30 | Room check-out & Enjoy Brunch
You return to Essence Cruise to complete the check-out procedures and pay your bill at the front desk.
Then, have a fulfilled brunch while admiring the natural beauty of Halong Bay before the cruise returns to port.
Having a nice Brunch
10:45 - 11:00 | Farewell & Disembark
Say goodbye to the nice staff on board and transfer back to Halong Bay International Harbor on a speedboat.
Once back on land, wait for your transportation back to Hanoi (not included in the cruise price).
14:30 - 15:00 | Arrive at Hanoi
Get in your transportation and return to your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Trip ends.

You will be picked up at the cruise and start your trip from Titop Island by day boat to Lan Ha Bay which is formed by the archipelago Cat Ba Island.
Stop at the Dark & Bright Caves area for kayaking. This place is famous for its outstanding geology with imposing mountains, lush nature, and emerald sea.
Have lunch
Lunch will be served on the day boat. Let's have a nice meal and recharge your energy.
Chilling time at Ba Trai Dao beach
In the afternoon, you may enjoy the crystal blue water and beautiful white sand on the stunning Ba Trai Dao beaches.
Return to Halong Bay - Peark Farm
Get back to the day boat, return to Halong Bay, and continue the amusing exploration journey.
Afterward, visit and experience the pearl raising and farming process at Pearl Farm Exhibition Center and Museum.
Return to Essence Grand Cruise
Relax with the luxury service on board: pool, spa, 3D golf, etc. You can also enjoy Canapé and drinks at the Sky Bar.
Enjoy Dinner - Free time

Return to Essence Grans and check out at the reception desk on the 1st floor.
Then, guests enjoy the brunch buffet on the cruise while continuing the journey back to the port.
10:45 - 11:00 | Disembark
The ship reaches Tuan Chau Marina. It's time to get off board and start your trip back to Hanoi (book the transfer with an extra fee).
14:30 - 15:00 | Return to Hanoi
Arrive back in your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and end your trip.

Perfect cruise
A wonderful trip with my colleagues on the Essence Grand. Spacious room with a gorgeous bay view, and delicious food. Every staff member welcomed us with smiles. The facilities are luxurious, the pool is very large.
