If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Cruise Itinerary
8:00 - 8:30 | Pick up from Hanoi
Present at your hotel in Hanoi and travel to Halong Bay (the transfer is excluded from the cruise price). There will be a rest stop midway.
11:00 - 12:00 | Check in - Embark
After a 2.5-hour drive, you will check in at Ambassador's Lounge (1st Floor - Halong International Cruise Port).
Passengers are transferred to Ambassador Cruise and a short welcoming briefing will be held at the Piano Lounge or at the restaurant after that.
Have Lunch
Savor a buffet lunch while enjoying the majestic views of the World Natural Wonder, Halong Bay with numerous majestic limestone islets.
Explore Luon Cave
Your first excursion is a visit to Luon Cave - a unique cave in Halong Bay featuring the self-contained lake inside a closed arch-shaped mountain, which you can experience by sitting on a bamboo boat rowed by a local or kayaking (need an extra fee).

Unwind in Titop Island
Next, visit Titop Island - a splendid destination encompassing a crescent moon-shaped beach, where you can immerse yourself in the turquoise water. Guests may also climb to the mountaintop beholding the breathtaking 360-degree view of the bay.
NOTE: For guests who stay on board, visit the Piano Lounge for homemade cakes, pamper at Atelier de Beauté Spa, or unwind in the pool.
Sunset Activities
At sundown, Ambassador Cruise will anchor overnight. This is the perfect time for you to enjoy a cooking class or Happy Hour and Canapes at the Piano Lounge or on the Sundeck (depending on weather conditions).
You may listen to live music at the Piano Lounge before dinner and it is guaranteed to whet your appetite.
Enjoy dinner - Free time
Savor a delicious dinner with our chef’s special menu at the restaurant. (Dress code: formal/semi-formal/smart casual)
After dinner, indulge in drinks and enjoy live music from the Band at the Piano Lounge (except Tuesday), squid fishing, a spa treatment, or movies at your cabin.

Tai Chi Class - Breakfast
Start your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or at the Piano Lounge. (depends on weather conditions).
Afterward, enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, and freshly baked pastries at the Piano Lounge.
Sung Sot Cave Excursion
It’s time to explore the spectacular Sung Sot Cave. This is the largest and most magnificent cave in the bay, featuring marvelous and mysterious thousand-year-old stalactites and stalagmites in a variety of unique forms.

After an amusing cave tour, you will get back to Ambassador Cruise for brunch at the restaurant.
Then you may settle your bill and check out at the reception around 9:30 on the 1st deck as the ship cruises back to the harbor.
10:15 - 10:30 | Disembark
The cruise takes you back to the pier. Let’s get off and say farewell to the crew on board. If you book the transfer (with an extra fee), wait for your driver in the lounge.
14:30 - 15:00 | Back to Hanoi
Travel from the pier back to Hanoi via highway. Stop at your hotel in the Old Quarter and end the trip.

8:00 - 8:30 | Transfer from Hanoi
Get ready and get on your transfer service to travel to Halong (need an extra fee). It’ll take about 2,5 hours.
11:00 - 12:00 | Check in - Get on board
Arrive at Halong International Harbor and do the check-in process at the Ambassador’s waiting lounge. Then transfer to the cruise on a speedboat.
The staff welcomes you on board with a fresh drink. Afterward, go to the Piano Lounge or the restaurant for a short cruise briefing.
Set sails - Have lunch
Ambassador Cruise starts sailing into Halong Bay. Time to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch while witnessing the stunning scenery from the restaurant’s windows.
Luon Cave Excursion
Your first trip in the afternoon is to Luon Cave, one of the most pretty caverns in Halong Bay, with a self-contained lake inside a closed arch-shaped mountain. You may sit on a bamboo boat rowed by a local or go kayaking to discover the beauty of this place
Visit Titop Island
Then you will travel to Titop Island, a magnificent spot with a crescent moon-shaped beach. Let’s play on the beach and enjoy the cool sea to relax. Hiking to the top of the island for a panoramic view of the bay is another fun option.

Free time at Sunset
Back to Ambassador Cruise afterward, then it will sail to the anchor area. During dusk, you may join the cooking class or Happy Hour with Canape, or listen to live music at the Piano Lounge or sundeck.

After a long day, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the restaurant. (Dress code: formal/semi-formal/smart casual)
Feel free to have some drinks while listening to a live band at the Piano Lounge (except Tuesday), try squid fishing, enjoy a massage, or simply relax.

It's time to explore Sung Sot Cave - the largest stalactite cave in Halong Bay with magical and majestic beauty created from countless shimmering stalactites & stalagmites transformed into various unique shapes.

Return on board to enjoy breakfast at the restaurant while the Ambassador Cruise returns to port.
At 9:30, guests may check out and pay the bill at the reception desk.
10:15 - 10:30 | Disembark
The cruise ship arrives at Halong International Harbor. Let's say goodbye to the staff and get off board for the next activities.
Explore Quang Ninh Museum
You will travel to Quang Ninh Museum, one of the symbolic destinations of Quang Ninh province. Here, visitors can learn about local history and culture, admire valuable archaeological relics, and discover legendary stories about the scenic Dong Pagoda (Yen Tu) and Halong Bay.
11:30 – 12:30 | Embark Ambassador Signature
Afterward, guests return to the Ambassador Cruise reception lobby to check-in. Then, you will travel to the Ambassador Signature Cruise (parked at Gia Luan Wharf) by speedboat.
At the Piano Lounge or restaurant on the cruise, guests will be briefed on the schedule and safety regulations.
Have Lunch
Enjoy lunch at the restaurant as the cruise moves through majestic islands and rocky mountains on Lan Ha Bay.
Viet Hai Village Excursion
The first stop in the afternoon is Viet Hai Village - a village of wild, peaceful beauty with unique traditional cultural values. Here, visitors may explore the lives of local people, visit the fish lake, apiary, old house, or experience a foot massage.
NOTE: For those not participating in sightseeing, you can relax on the Sundeck or enjoy tea and scrumptious cakes at the Piano Lounge. Guests can also choose to experience a spa treatment (extra fee).

Enjoy sightseeing along the way back to Ambassador Signature. It will anchor for the night at sunset.
