Overview
Launched in 2016, the Orchid cruise is the first 5-star luxury junk boat on the voyage to visit some famous attractions in Halong Bay, Cat Ba Island, and Lan Ha Bay. Having 14 elite cabins on board with the lowest size of 36 sqm, this boat promises the best experiences with professional quality personnel and exciting activities on and off-board.

Itineraries
Morning:
- 9:00: Pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi
- Transfer to Tuan Chau Marina
- 11:30: Gather at Orchid Cruise’s lounge with a warm welcome
- Show up at the check-in area of Athena Cruise
- Sip a cup of the welcome drink and listen to the cruise briefing and safety introduction
- Enjoy the seafood lunch while cruising through Da Chong Islet, where an ancient lighthouse located for more than a century.
Afternoon
- Explore Dark&Bright Cave, one of the most splendid caves in Lan Ha Bay
- Enjoy the breath-taking appearance of Dark&Bright Cave on the bamboo boat or dinghy sailed by the locals
- Stop at the Tra Bau Area, where tourists will enjoy kayaking and swimming in the crystal-clear water of the sea.
- Come back to the vessel to enjoy the romantic sunset on the sea
- Learn how to cook Vietnamese foods by joining the cooking class
Evening
- Take part in the Happy Hour deal at the bar
- Recharge your energy after a long day with dinner at the restaurant
- Enjoy a charming night in Halong Bay by tasting hard drinks at the bar, squid fishing on the deck, watching movies, or relaxing in your room

Morning
- Start a new day by exercising Tai Chi session on the deck
- Enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee/tea/juice
- Have a light breakfast on board while cruising on Lan Ha Bay
- Visit Ao Ech (or Frog Pond), where firmed King Kong Holywood Film in 2018 by kayaking and swimming
- Get back to Orchid Cruise to pack your luggage and process check-out procedures
- Taste a light brunch while cruising back to the ferry
Afternoon
- Drop you at the quayside and transfer to Hanoi
- 14:00 - 15:00: Arrive at Hanoi
- End of your trip
Morning
- 09:00: Get transferred from Hanoi Old Quarter to Tuan Chau Port, Halong City via the new highway
- Arrive at the ferry around 11:30, then take special tea at Orchid Cruise’s lounge with a warm welcome
- Get on the tender to head the ORCHID CRUISE
- Check in the cruise, enjoy a welcome drink, and receive cruise briefing and safety instructions
- Have an International Buffet Lunch.
Afternoon
- Progress to the Dark & Bright area of Lan Ha Bay for kayaking or bamboo boat
- Get on Tra Bau where you can swim in the green emerald water
- Return to the cruise, and watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin
- Enjoy the Happy Hour deal
- Join a traditional cooking class to learn how to make some Vietnamese dishes

Night
- Have a Sumptuous Candlelight Deluxe Dinner Set with delicious local food
- Take part in night activities such as watching a movie, squid fishing, and enjoying drinks from the bar
Morning
- Join the Tai Chi session on the sun deck
- Enjoy breakfast served in the dining room with a morning view of the bay’s landscape
- Get on the Orchid Day Boat to visit Viet Hai village
- Cycle along the village path, go through rain forests and dark tunnels, enjoy the stunning scenery of rice fields, visit an ancient local house and see the local life in a valley of local people
Optional electric car service is available at an extra cost
- Get back to day boat for visiting Lan Ha Bay around noon
- Enjoy lunch served on the day boat
Afternoon
- Visit Lan Ha Bay, to see more beautiful islands in the bay or get an interesting introduction from our professional tour guide on Orchid Day Boat
- Return to ORCHID CRUISE, then swim in the untouched area
- Take part in a traditional cooking class to learn how to make some Vietnamese dishes
- Watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and take part in Happy Hour
Night
- Enjoy delicious local food
- Relax with your drinks from the bar, and enjoy the landscape of the bay at night on the top deck
- Join other night activities such as night squid fishing, or watching a movie in the restaurant
Moring
- Take part in Tai Chi session on the sun deck
- Have breakfast while the cruise heads out to explore Ao Ech area in Lan Ha Bay
- Do your own kayak in Ao Ech area to discover the hidden charm of the bay
- Return your boat, then check out
- Enjoy a delightful brunch
- Learn how to enjoy Vietnamese tea and Vietnamese culture during Tea Ceremony at the restaurant
Afternoon
- Return to the quayside in the south of the bay
- Get picked up from the ferry for the transfer back to Hanoi. The trip ends.
Morning:
- 07:45 - 08:30: Transfer to Hanoi airport and get on the seaplane and take a spectacular flight over Halong Bay for 15 minutes.

- Arrive at the Orchid check-in counter, and wait until check-in time

Afternoon:
- Discover beautiful limestones and learn Vietnamese history in Trung Trang Cave.
Optional: Sunbathing on board, traditional massage (chargeable) or swimming around the platform in Dark and Bright caves
- Orchid Cruises enters a less populated area at Tra Bau – Lan Ha Bay, where you can swim in the green, emerald water.
- Take part in a traditional cooking demonstration on sundeck (or in the restaurant depends on the weather ) while sailing back to the overnight mooring area
- Watching sunset while enjoy a drink on the sundeck during Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1)
Evening:
- Set menu dinner is served in the restaurant
- Take in the quiet and relaxing landscape of the bay at night. Try your hand at squid fishing or unwind with a movie in the café.
- Overnight on board
Morning:
- After enjoying some morning tea/coffee, begin your day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck.
- Transfer to the Orchid day boat to visit Viet Hai Village
- Witnessing the spectacular beauty of Cat Ba rainforest and dark tunnels while cycling through the village (electric car service provided)
- Visit an antique house for a deeper look at local life.
- Get back on the main boat and have lunch
Afternoon:
- Kayaking in Lan Ha Bay and enjoy the stunning scenery or relaxing on the sand
- Return to Orchid Cruises for some chef-prepared Tapas. Enjoy the spectacular sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin while sipping refreshing cocktails at the cruise top-deck bar during Happy Hour.
Evening:
- Enjoy dinner with great local cuisine in a cozy, romantic atmosphere.
- It's time to enjoy the beauty of the bay at night; our sundeck bar and restaurant are always open for requests. You may also go squid fishing or watch a movie in the restaurant, which also has chess and cards available.
- Overnight on board
Morning:
- Start the day with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck or simply relax and take in the breathtaking sights of Halong Bay on the Orchid.
- Breakfast is served on board
- Kayaking to Ao Ech Area and explore this hidden attraction
- 8.30: Return to Orchid Cruises and check out
- While cruising back, have a delicious brunch at our restaurant
- 11.30: Join a Vietnamese traditional tea ceremony before you disembark in Tuan Chau port.
Afternoon:
- 16.30: Arrival at Hanoi Old Quarter. Ends trip.
Booking Policy

- Luxury Cruise through Halong bay – Lan Ha Bay ( apply for 2 days 1 night) and Bai Tu Long Bay ( apply for 3 days 2 nights)
- All meals aboard as mentioned in the itineraries, ( 02 lunches, 01 dinner, 01 breakfast) for 2 days 1 night, ( 03 lunches, 02 dinners, 02 breakfast) for 3 days 2 nights

- From 14 to 10 days prior to check-in: 50% of total rates
- From 9 to 4 days prior to check-in: 70% of total rates
- Less than 72 hours prior to check-in: 100% of total rates
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
