Overview
The Heritage Binh Chuan, inspired by the King of ships in Vietnam, depicts the splendor of Vietnamese history, culture, and cuisine in a unique way. Its appeal among the top Halong Bay cruises is mostly due to the abundance of traditional artwork and paintings as well as the incorporation of Vietnamese ethnic values.
Launched in the summer of 2019, the Heritage Binh Chuan was developed in accordance with SB requirements for safety testing. In order to provide the most opulent cruise experience possible, the boat was limited to 20 cabins. Each cabin has first-rate amenities and stunning views of the Bay. With a devoted crew, this cruise guarantees a first-class experience that is customized for each traveler individually.
The 5-star cruise offers a splendid tour with different lengths varying from 2 days, 1 night to 4 days, 3 nights. The two-day, one-night trip begins with cruising to Lan Ha Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago - Three Peaches Beach - Dark & Bright Cave, where you'll spend the night, before continuing on to Tuan Chau and returning to Hanoi. The 3 or 4 days tour will reach further to explore Cat Ba Island's other unexplored regions.

Itineraries
Morning
- 8:00 - 8:30: Pick up from your hotel to Tuan Chau International Marina (if you book the cruise’s shuttle bus)
- 12:00 - 12:30: Welcome to Heritage Cruises Lounge at No.28 of Tuan Chau International Marina
- Process check-in produce and you will get on a speedboat to Heritage Cruise and head to the Cat Ba archipelago
- Enjoy your welcome drink while the cruise staff and safety instructions are introduced
- Check-in your cabin then have lunch served at L’indochine Restaurant
Afternoon
- Visit Tra Bau or Ba Trai Dao beach in Lan Ha Bay. You can try kayaking or swimming in the crystal-clear green lake
- Return to the cruise ship in the late afternoon to take in the breathtaking views of the setting sun from the sundeck
- Participate in an engaging cooking class to learn how to prepare a basic traditional Vietnamese dish
Evening
- A memorable dining experience will be offered at Le Tonkin Restaurant, with local food in an intimate and romantic setting
- Enjoy nightlife activities in your free time: admire the night beauty of the bay, enjoy cocktails in the cruise’s bar, try night squid fishing, etc.
Morning
- Start the day with Vovinam training
- Enjoy a light breakfast on the 3rd floor of L'indochine restaurant
- Having a bamboo boat tour at Dark & Bright Cave
- Return to Heritage Cruise, pack your luggage, then check out
- Have a light brunch at the 3rd-floor restaurant while returning to the port
Afternoon
- 14:00: If you have booked our limousine service, the cruise’s chauffeur will pick you up to take you to your hotel in Hanoi.
- 16:00: Arrival at your hotel. End of the 2-day cruise trip.
Morning:
- 8:00 - 8:30: A shuttle bus (if you book with the cruise) will pick you up from your hotel then start the trip to Halong Bay (travel time: 2,5 hours)
- Arrive at Tuan Chau Port
- Process check-in production then you will be transferred to Heritage Cruise by speedboat and head to Cat Ba archipelago
- Enjoy your welcome drink while the cruise staff and safety instructions are introduced. After that, check in your cabin.
- Enjoy your lunch on the 3rd floor while the cruise embarks and travels to Lan Ha Bay
Afternoon
- Go to Ba Trai Dao (or Vung Tra Bau) beach in Lan Ha Bay. You can try kayaking or swimming.
- Return to the cruise boat to admire the stunning sunset scenery from the cruise sundeck
- Join a Vietnamese cooking class and learn to cook a basic dish
Evening
- A luxury dinner is served at the 1st floor Le Tonkin
- Enjoy nightlife activities such as: observing the bay at night, trying cocktails in the bar, fishing squid, etc.
Morning
- Start the day with Vovinam training
- Get on a speedboat to visit Viet Hai Village. Bike tour through rice paddies and National Park, visit traditional old houses and observe the local life here
- Visit a restaurant in Viet Hai Village for lunch
- Return to the cruise and continue the trip to Lan Ha Bay
Afternoon
- Take a trip to Ba Trai Dao (or Ho Ba Ham) beach in Lan Ha Bay to enjoy the beauty of the bay by bamboo boats or kayaking
- Return to the cruise boat in the late afternoon to enjoy cocktails, beer, and fine wine as the sky changes color.
- Enjoy life aboard the vessel or in your suite, and watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. The chef will lead a Vietnamese cooking class.
Evening
- Enjoy a fine-dining experience at Le Tonkin Restaurant
- Welcome the night at the bar on the top deck, or try squid fishing. The bars are open late.
Morning
- Start the day with a session of Vovinam on the sundeck
- Have a light breakfast at the 3rd-floor L'indochine restaurant
- Take a bamboo boat trip to Dark and Bright Cave
- Return to the Cruise then proceed to checkout at 9:00 - 9:30
- Enjoy a light brunch at the 3rd-floor restaurant while returning to the port
Afternoon
- 11:00: Return to Tuan Chau Marina and disembark for your onward journey. While waiting for the pick-up service to your next destination, enjoy the comfort of our lounge
- 14:00: If you have booked the cruise’s limousine service, our chauffeur will pick you up to take you to your hotel in Hanoi.
Morning
- 8:00 - 8:30: Our cruise’s limousine will pick up those who book transfer services from Hanoi to Halong Bay
- Arrival at Tuan Chau International Harbor then check-in at Heritage Cruise Louge
- Move to Heritage Cruise by speedboat
- Enjoy a welcome drink while listening to the safety instruction from the captain
- Lunch will be served at L'indochine restaurant
Afternoon
- Visit Ba Trai Dao or Tra Bau area by speedboat. You can try kayaking or swimming at the beach
- Back to the cruise for a rest and enjoy the sunset
- Taking a tea break and Vietnamese cooking class at the restaurant on the third floor
Evening
- Enjoy cuisine in the romantic space of Le Tonkin on the first floor
- Join nightlife activities with squid fishing and or sipping on the bar
Morning
- Start the day with Vovinam on the sundeck followed by coffee, tea, and pastries
- Breakfast will be served
- Move to Viet Hai village by speedboat, then you can bike through the rice fields and learn about local people’s daily life
- Have lunch at Viet Hai's local house
Afternoon
- Return to the cruise and get to Ba Trai Dao or Tra Bau area for kayaking, swimming activities
- Resting on the Heritage cruise with a cooking demonstration from the chef and learn the recipes of Vietnamese dishes
- Enjoy life aboard the vessel or in your suite, and with a cocktail in hand watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin
Evening
- Enjoy a fine-dining experience in the main restaurant
- Welcome the night at the bar on the top deck, or try squid fishing. The bars are open late.
Morning
- Have a light breakfast
- Transfer by speedboat to the biggest island in the Gulf of Tonkin - Cat Ba Island
- Explore Trung Trang Cave or Quan Y Cave
- Go to the center of Cat Ba Island and visit the local market
- Learn about the process of making fish sauce
- Try local cuisine at a restaurant on Cat Ba Island
Optional: Take a walk around the Cat Co coast before going back to the Heritage Binh Chuan cruise
Afternoon
- Go through Cai Beo pier and get on a speedboat to visit the floating village
- Back to the cruise to rest after a long day
- Free time to enjoy the swimming pool and enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine at the Pool Bar while the sun sets over the bay
Evening
- Dinner will be served at Le Tonkin Restaurant
- Relax at the top-deck bar, and try squid fishing
Morning
- Enjoy the last day in Lan Ha Bay with Vovinam practice in the morning
- Have a light breakfast at L’indochine restaurant
- Discover Dark and Bright cave by bamboo boat
- Back to the cruise to check out at 9:00 - 9:30
- 11:00: Return to Tuan Chau Marina and disembark for your onward journey

- 14:00 A limousine from our cruise will transfer you back to Hanoi
- Arrival at Hanoi around 16:00 - 16:30. End of your trip.

- For Group under 5 cabins:
- More than 15 days prior to check-in: FREE of charge.
- From 14 to 10 days prior to check-in: 50% of total rates
- From 9 to 4 days prior to check-in: 70% of total rates
- Less than 72 hours prior to check-in: 100% of total rates
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
