Booking Policy
- 1-night accommodation at a Capella’s suite cabin (all featured with private balcony/terrace and ocean-view bathtub)
- 4 dining experiences: welcome lunch buffet, Chef’s special dinner set menu, Light breakfast buffet, and a Brunch buffet on departure day.
- Sunset party with refreshment in happy hours (17:00 – 19:00)
- Free access to the cruise recreation facilities: Oasis Pool & Jacuzzi; the floating Ocean pool; Inflatable water slide; Mini-golf course; Cigar & Poker club; Fishing.
- Visiting the Bright cave by rowing boat
- All entrance fee & permission fee
- Transfer service from and to the cruise port in Tuan Chau (Book in next step)

- Under 5 years old:
- Children under 5 years old sharing the full price cabin with adults: Free of charge (Limited to 1 child/1 cabin)
- From 2nd children: charged 30% adult (without extra bed)
- From 5 to 11 years old:
- 01 child stays in the double/twin cabin with 2 adults: charged 50% adult (without extra bed)
- 01 child stays in the double/twin cabin with 2 adults: charged 75% adult (with extra bed)
- 01 child stays in the double/twin cabin with 1 adult: charged 75% adult
- Two children staying in a separated double/ twin cabin are charged 75% adult/ each
- 01 child in a separated single cabin is charged 75% of a full-price single cabin.
- From 12 years old: Children from 12 years old will be charged as adults
- Extra bed: Charged 75% for the third person using an extra bed
- For private/charter cruises: Children from 5 years old will be charged as adults
- For groups under 4 cabins:
- More than 31 days prior to check-in: FREE of charge
- From 15 to 30 days prior to check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less than 14 days prior to check-in or no show: 100% of total rates
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Cruise Itinerary
8:00 - 8:30 | Pick-up Time
You will be picked up from your accommodation in the Hanoi Old Quarter. Then start your transfer (The transfer fee is not included) to Tuan Chau Marina.
The route might take 2.5 hours, with a quick break at the Ha Long Pearl export processing area.
11:30 - 12:00 | Embark - Have Lunch
When arriving at the Capella Cruise Lounge in Tuan Chau Marina No. 27, let's finish the check-in procedure.
After being greeted warmly by crew members with a welcome drink, you will listen to the ship's introduction and safety protocols.
After that, relax for a while in your room before getting ready for a buffet meal at the Harmony of the Sea restaurant.
Visit Ao Ech Area
Let’s spend the afternoon time at Ao Ech Area, where you can enjoy the infinity water slide from Capella Cruise, kayaking, and swimming in the clear water around. This area’s pure natural beauty and its several rocky karst mountains are what you can expect to witness.
Have fun with Waterslide
Late-afternoon Activities
Return to the cruise to participate in stress-relieving activities like swimming at the Oasis Pool and Jacuzzi or playing on the mini-golf course.
Also, the Happy Hour program will be hosted in the Spirit of the Sea Lounge or the sundeck. Moreover, you may test your culinary skills in the cooking class then have a certificate and enjoy your dish.
Have Dinner - Nightlife On Cruise
Savor your fine dining dinner in the restaurant then get ready to experience many interesting activities.
You are free to watch a movie in the lounge, engage in some karaoke, play board games, and try squid fishing.

Get back to the cabin to double-check your items before checking out. Enjoy a delicious brunch as you sail past Halong Bay.
11:00 -11:45 | Disembark
Once reaching the pier, say goodbye to the crew. While waiting for the transportation to Hanoi, take a moment to relax in the Capella Lounge.
14:30 - 15:00 | Back To Hanoi
After a 2.5-hour drive from the pier (book transfer service with extra fee), you will arrive in Hanoi.

At your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, you will be picked up and transferred to Tuan Chau Marina (our tour services do not cover the transport fee).
The trip may take 2.5 hours, with a brief stop at the Ha Long Pearl export processing facility.
11:30 - 12:00 | Tuan Chau Pier - Lunch Time
You'll check in when you arrive at the cruise lounge at Tuan Chau Marina Lot. 27. Then, take a 15-minute tender ride to Capella Cruise.
The cruise staff will greet you warmly with a welcome drink and the cruise manager will give you instructions about the safety procedures.
Then, unwind in your cabin before getting ready for a delectable buffet lunch at the Harmony of the Sea restaurant.
Discover The Ao Ech Area
Let's spend the time after lunch in the Ao Ech Area, where you may kayak and swim in the clean water, as well as experience Capella Cruise's infinity water slide. You may expect to see the purified beauty of nature in this area, as well as the numerous stony karst mountains.

Return to the ship to relax by stretching in the Oasis Pool and Jacuzzi or trying out your golfing skills.

There will be a short session of Tai Chi class on the sundeck. After that, do not forget about a nice breakfast.
Visit Viet Hai Village
The first destination is Viet Hai village, which has existed for more than a century and is home to Cat Ba's long-standing traditions. Let’s take a day boat to get to this off-the-beaten-path landscape.
You may choose between riding a bicycle down the winding path or taking an electric cart. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about local culture and take in the magnificent mountain atmosphere.
You may also visit an old house, speak with the natives, and learn how to brew rice wine with the way of life of fishermen.
Optional: You can find the fish massage in Viet Hai village. This alternative will increase your blood flow.

Let's have lunch in the village restaurant and sample some of the regional fare.
Explore Ba Trai Dao Beach
Returning to the day boat, the trip continues to Ba Trai Dao Beach. It's time to soak up the sun on the immaculate sand or submerge yourself in the ocean in the afternoon.

14:30 - 15:00 | Return to Hanoi
You might get to your hotel in Hanoi after a 2.5-hour drive (book the transfer with an extra fee) and the tour ends.

We had a wonderful time!
The Capella Cruise was a fantastic place for us. The journey was delightful, the food excellent, and the boat very comfortable and cozy. However, the crew was the highlight. They were very friendly, kind, and concerned about our well-being. A special thanks to Tom, the manager. I regret not choosing the 3-day, 2-night cruise. I am absolutely in favor of this ship.

A delightful trip
A stunning ship with excellent service and plenty of comfort. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, and the apartment was well outfitted and large. The ship made sure we were well taken care of despite our vegetarian diet.
