Overview
A 3-star wooden boat in Halong Bay, Oriental Sails Halong Bay is a part of the Oriental Sails Group and was initially constructed in 2009. The boats of Oriental Sails were all designed with luxurious interiors, extensive facilities, and high-quality services. They were all inspired by traditional Vietnamese design.
With 8, 11, and 16 luxurious accommodations, Oriental Sails Halong offers three voyages. Modern amenities and first-rate service are available in every cabin. Particularly, these accommodations include rattan furniture and broad windows that let all travelers fully enjoy the stunning view of the bay.

Itineraries
Morning
- 08.00 – 8.30: Leave Ha Noi towards Bai Chay town, the Ha Long International Cruise Port. At the lounge, revive yourself.
- Launch the Oriental Sails. Enjoy a complimentary beverage while learning about the cruise's itinerary and safety precautions. Register your cabin.
- Enjoy lunch while sailing across the picturesque Ha Long Bay and taking in the breathtaking scenery before anchoring on Titop Island.
Afternoon
- Join a guided tour to Sung Sot Cave, one of Halong Bay's largest and most stunning caves (also known as Amazing Cave).
- Titop Island's summit may be reached for a panoramic view of the bay. descending, unwinding on the sand, and swimming in the clear sea.
- Return to Oriental Sails and take in the sunset while unwinding at Happy Hour at the bar till dinnertime.
- Enjoy discounted beverages during happy hours. Participate in a culinary class and food decorating with our Chef.
Night
- The meal is ready. On request, a private meal is provided.
- Go squid fishing with the crew, sing karaoke, or simply unwind in your cabin on Oriental Sails overnight
- Enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the fabled Gulf of Tonkin as you start a new day.
- Enrich your mind and body with a Tai chi lesson on the sundeck.
- Enjoy your breakfast while you take in the seascapes of the morning while sipping tea or coffee and exploring the Karst labyrinth.
- Join a guided tour to discover the Luon Grotto, a secret area of the bay.
- You may rent a kayak on your own or ride in a sampan with other visitors and a native rower.
- Shower back at Oriental Sails.
- Continue exploring the gorgeous path near Bai Chay bridge and take pictures, Oriental Sails weighs the anchor.
- Have your last meal in Halong Bay.
- Embark between 11:30 and 11:45. Cruise is over.
- Around 16:30, return to Ha Noi City, and the excursion concludes at the hotel.
Morning:
- 08:00 – 08:30 Get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for 3 hour-and-a-half drive to Ha Long International Cruise Port.
- Arrive in Oriental Sails JSC’s private waiting hall - The OS Lounge around 12:30.
- Embark on Oriental Sails and receive cruise briefing.
Afternoon:
- Enjoy delicious lunch as the Oriental Sails cruise heads to Vung Vieng fishing village, one of the largest fishing villages in Halong Bay to see the life of local fishermen.
Optional: There are options to either take a bamboo rowing boat trip or go kayaking by yourself around Vung Vieng Fishing Village
- Get back to Oriental Sails.
- Enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar.
- Take part in our cooking class with the Oriental Sails Chef.
Night:
- Enjoy dinner
- Join night activities, meet new friends, join night squid fishing, sing, dance or just laze around.
- Overnight on board at Cong Do Area
Morning:
- Join Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck, or just enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the beautiful sunrise over the bay.
- Have breakfast in the restaurant.
- Get on the day boat to explore Halong Bay.
- Do kayaking to explore Vung Ha Island, and enjoy the wild, bewitching nature.
- Have lunch on our day boat at Vung Ha area.
Afternoon & Night:
- Return back to Oriental Sails Cruise.
- Have dinner, and join night activities on board.
- Over the second night on board at Cong Do area.
Morning:
- Join Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck, or just enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
- Have lunch while the cruise heads toward Thien Canh Son Cave.
- Visit Thien Canh Son Cave.
- Get back to the boat and check out the cabin. (Please leave your luggage to the reception area).
- Have early brunch on board while the cruise heads back to harbor.
- Disembark Oriental Sails at around 12:00.
Afternoon:
- Get transferred from the harbor back to Hanoi. End of services.

- For Group under 5 cabins:
- More than 15 days prior to check-in: FREE of charge.
- From 14 to 10 days prior to check-in: 50% of total rates
- From 9 to 4 days prior to check-in: 70% of total rates
- Less than 72 hours prior to check-in: 100% of total rates
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
