If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Cruise Itinerary
8:00 - 8:30 | Transfer From Hanoi
Pick up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quater for guests who use the transfer service. Then start the 2.5-hour drive to Halong.
NOTE: The transfer is excluded from the cruise price. Book it separately with a surcharge.
11:30 - 12:30 | Tuan Chau Pier - Get On Board
Arrive at the cruise waiting lounge at the pier. You’ll be taken to the tender and transferred from the wharf to Peony Junk. The itinerary briefing is announced during this time.
Refresh with a welcome drink and wet towel after getting on board. Then you can check in your cabin.
Sailing To Lan Ha Bay & Have Lunch
Afterward, visit the restaurant to enjoy a nice meal with tasty food to fill your stomach. The junk will start cruising to the magnificent Lan Ha Bay during this time.
Kayaking Time At Tra Bau
In the mid-afternoon, you will join the first activity of the day: kayaking in the Tra Bau Area. This place is a perfect spot to explore the beauty of nature with various limestone islands, lush flora, and calm water.
You can stay on board to relax in the Jacuzzi or chill out in your cabin if you like.

Happy Hour & Cooking Class
Guests will return on board in the late afternoon for more activities such as learning how to make Spring Rolls in Vietnamese cooking class, enjoying drinks in Happy Hour, or simply admiring the sunset.
Dinner Time & Leisure
In the evening, enjoy delicious local food in the romantic setting of the restaurant. Then you may have free time for yourself.
Squid fishing is a recommended activity if you want to try your luck. Or else, having a massage service or drinking at the sky bar is another great option.

Start a new day by witnessing the glorious scenery of the bay at sunrise. Then get your energy with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Breakfast is served at the restaurant later.
Discover Viet Hai Village
The visitors are moved to a day boat and set sail for the further area of Lan Ha Bay. Let’s travel along the bay's pretty and tranquil atmosphere.
After arriving at the Viet Hai jetty, guests will enjoy an amusing time cycling or riding an e-cart to Viet Hai Village via the lush tropical forest and imposing limestone mountains surrounded by greenery.
Time to learn about local daily life and how the bamboo thatched cottages were created and lived in; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud.

Lunch Time
Return to the day boat and enjoy a warm lunch at the restaurant while the boat cruises to the kayaking and swimming area.
Explore the Ba Trai Dao Area
You will reach the Ba Trai Dao in the afternoon. This secluded and quiet characteristic of this area makes it perfect for water activities. You can swim on the white sandy beach here or kayak to see the natural landscape.
Leisure Time - Happy Hour & Cooking Class
Later in the day, return to Peony mid-range Junk to unwind: relax in the Jacuzzi on the sundeck, and enjoy a massage. By the pool, enjoy the music and your favorite drinks.
Afterward, you may enjoy Happy Hour - buy one get one free, and watch the marvelous sunset. Attending the cooking demonstration to make Vietnamese spring rolls is another fun activity.
Enjoy Dinner & Be Free
In the evening, dinner is served in the cruise’s restaurant. Let’s reward yourself with a lavish meal.
Then, you can spend your leisure time however you like: play board games, fish squid, drink at the bar or rest in the cabin.

If you miss the Tai Chi Class, let’s join it on the last day. And don’t miss the chance to witness the sunrise moment.
Breakfast is served while cruising back to the Gia Luan jetty. (Breakfast time may adjust and follow the real itinerary)
Trung Trang Cave Trip
After breakfast, you’ll join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. From Gia Luan, it takes 30 minutes to transfer to Trung Trang Cave.
Trung Trang is one of the most well-known caves in Cat Ba Island due to its geological values with a typical cave ecosystem. Visit this cavern. you can see numerous stalagmites and stalactites in various shapes & sizes, creating an outstanding view.
Take Pictures of the Majestic Landscape
Check out & Have Brunch
Get back to Peony Junk after the cave excursion. You will have some time to relax before checking out the cabin (please put your luggage outside the room).
Enjoy your last brunch at the restaurant. If you have any bill, settle it by the desk.
11:30 - 11:00 | Disembark
The junk reaches Tuan Chau Pier before noon, guests will be transferred to the waiting lounge by a tender. Now you can relax and wait for your driver.
14:30 - 15:00 | Back To Hanoi
For those who use the transfer service, get in your transportation and return to Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel and end your trip.
